Drawing inspiration from artists such as Earth Wind and Fire\, L.A.B\, Fat Freddies Drop and Stevie Wonder their upbeat energy provides something audiences of any age to love.\nFestival Performance History\nTauranga Jazz Festival (2022 & 2023)\nOkura Forest Festival (2023)\nMusic In Parks (2022 & 2023)\nRhythm & Vines (20/21)\nPaddock Radio Artist Showcase (2023) \nBIG TASTY LONG-FORM BIO \nBIG TASTY strolled their way into the spotlight after winning Battle of the Bands 2020. Based in Tāmaki Makarau\, the soul/funk band is known for its high-energy\, hard-hitting\, soulful tracks\, and for getting audiences up on their feet to dance. \nThrough their passion\, incredible musicianship\, and a classic nostalgic sound\, Big Tasty have captured growing recognition with their expansive performance repertoire including the Okura Forest Festival 2023\, Tauranga Jazz Festival 2022\, Music in the Parks\, and Rhythm and Vines 2020/21. They have also played sold-out shows at Anthology Lounge [Auckland]\, supported ODDS AND ENDS at the Tuning Fork 2022 [Auckland]\, and undertaken their own 6-date national tour. \nBig Tasty’s 2022 singles\, “Diamond Eyed” and “If You Leave Me Now\,” demonstrate their versatility and ability to deliver electrifying performances. “Diamond Eyed” achieved an impressive #9 ranking on the Radioscope Hot Singles chart.
