The Birds achieved 1st place at the Smokefree Rockquest North Shore Regional Finals in 2023 and won the ZM Best Song Award in 2024 for their song Refrain. Their debut EP Nothing Special highlights the energetic and engaging sound that The Birds bring to Aotearoa’s Indie Music Scene. \nThe Birds will be joined by KENZY and her backing band\, alongside FivePM. \n17 year old singer/songwriter KENZY\, from Tāmaki Makaurau\, brings a fresh air of indie pop to the stage with a unique acoustic twist\, influenced by her long standing love for pop and indie folk music.
