Known for their huge energy on stage\, The RVMES deliver you a distinctive sound from their collective love and influence of alt-rock\, funk\, reggae and soul. \nCAPRICORE\nEmerging from the flourishing underground Auckland rock scene\, Capricorecaused a stir upon their live debut in 2023\, playing back to back shows all across the North island of Aotearoa. The brainchild of Netherworlds founder Nick Sampson with long time collaborators Tim Robinson and Steve Shaw\, The Black Flames is an 11-piece rockin’ soul powerhouse. \nUp front… the effervescent Aaron Gascoigne who fronted The Blues Brothers Revue and ColdShock with his signature punch and panache. Exciting new vocalist Moana Richardson. And handily adjacent\, belting six strings and singing\, Sampson who wrote the evergreen NZ classic\, ‘For Today’ (yes it’s in the Black Flames’ set).
