It’s a daunting task resurrecting a career spanning 50 years after you’ve melted into the fabric of another band and put everything that you’ve done in the past into a state of suspension. But the past can’t stay down forever.

There are many sides to Mark Williams that have kept him a staple in the industry, managing to stay just this side of the radar – which was enough to herald the resurgence of the band Dragon almost 20 years ago, while maintaining his own unique style – an undeniable force.

Since blitzing the New Zealand scene in the mid 70s with his unique blend of Pop/Soul, and collaborating with some of Australasia’s finest artists, Williams continues his journey of embracing the present while honouring the past.
