includes some of Aotearoa’s hottest live bands on the scene including Pats Cave, Capricore, THE RVMES, and Pony. Join them for an action
packed night of indie, alternative-rock, post-punk, and funk!
THE RVMES
Doused under their signature pink lights, covered in sweat and pouring riffs out oftheir cranked guitar amps is where you’ll find one of Tāmaki Makaurau’s impressive alternative rock bands, The RVMES. Known for their huge energy on stage, The RVMES deliver you a distinctive sound from their collective love and influence of alt-rock, funk, reggae and soul.
CAPRICORE
Emerging from the flourishing underground Auckland rock scene, Capricorecaused a stir upon their live debut in 2023, playing back to back shows all across the North island of Aotearoa. The following year they debuted two recorded singles, Dreamer and J.A.F.A – with the second reaching #1 in the New Zealand music charts. Often described as a modern take on Split Enz, Capricore takes influence from classic New Zealand artists, filtering their sound through a fresh,alternative lens. Their style altogether has been praised by critics as genre
defying, delivering a rich blend of post-punk, alternative, and pop-rock flavour.
PAT’S CAVE
Pat’s Cave are an indie-psych band working out of an old factory known as the “Cave”. As big fans of music, they draw inspiration from a huge variety of artists but always seem to end up with something that feels unique to them. They are passionate about the process of creating
music, and are eager to explore new ideas with the ultimate aim of producing something which is proudly their own. They hope their passion for music shows in their recordings and live performances, and above all their greatest desire is to share that passion with you.
PONY
Pony are a five-piece band from Tāmaki Makaurau, mashing up blues, punk, rock, funk, and indie into something loud, energetic, and (absolutely) rad. They like big riffs, funky grooves, and making sure no two shows sound the same. Ifyou like tunes that keep you on your toes, they’ll probably like you too.
