Tony Painting and The Power have become firm favourites with the music loving public and musicians alike. Fronted by UK born guitarist and vocalist Tony Painting their special brand of blistering guitar based boogie blues/rock is a real show stopper. But don't make the mistake in thinking this band only plays it fast and loud. The key to this is a lineup of seasoned musicians with diverse musical back grounds (see bios) this is their tribute to 2 of the most influential guitarists of all time, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Tony Paintings UK roots are well known having spent the better part of the 70s,80s and 90s as a working musician(see bios) touring the many pubs and clubs in the UK and later after the release of his “Band of Gypsy's” album where Tony penned all but two of the songs was invited to either support or play with some of the UK’s best known artists including UB40, Jools Holland Big Band, Ozzy Osborne, Ruby Turner and Robert Plant. Tony and the band have played at prestigious events including the Fiji Jazz and Blues Festival, The Samoa Jazz and Blues Festival, and has toured the country with the NZ Jazz and Blues Festivals shows in Whangarei, Matakana and Ngatea, and is a regular at The Kings Arms, Biddy Mulligans in Hamilton, and The Juice Bar |

Two of NZ’s best standup comedians bring you ‘The Paul Paul Comedy Night’, a 2 hour showcase of world class comedy from easily the best Paul's in the business. Featuring “NZ’s Top Professional Comedian” Paul Ego, a legend of stage and small screen. Ego has over 25 years comedy experience and is a much in-demand live performer. His rapid wit as an MC and feature act comic has seen him described as 'The Master of Improv'. He is also well known from his years on the hit TV comedy panel show ‘7DAYS’ and as the voice of one of NZ’s leading large yellow supermarkets. Ego will be joined by “gifted and hilarious comedian” Paul Douglas. One of the busiest live comics in the country, Douglas was the winner of ‘Best Live Show’ and ‘Best Gag’ at the 2019 NZ Comedy Guild Awards. Put simply, as it was in one particular review, Paul is “just a dude with a microphone being incredibly funny” If you haven’t already caught him on ‘7DAYS’, ‘The Project’ or the ‘TVNZ Best Foods Comedy Gala’ then this is your chance to catch Paul Douglas live. ‘The Paul Paul Comedy Night’ is a show where both Paul's are the feature act. NZ Top is New Zealand’s very own ZZ Top Tribute Band. Complete with beards, hats and cheap sunglasses, this 3 piece band will rock your socks and whiskers off! These talented musicians have taken great pride and joy to reproduce ZZ TOP’s iconic sound with an authentic look. The concept of a ZZ Top Tribute show came about when 3 experienced musos' met at the Hamilton Blues Club and reawakened their love for 70’s /80’s music by paying tribute to Billy Gibbons and his band ZZ Top. The driving blues rock inspires the players and the result is a tight- professional unit which does justice to the music and is visually appealing to both the young and the not so young. The tribute show runs for 2 hours with a 15 minute break between sets. Songs like Gimme all your Lovin, Tush, Sharp Dressed Man and La Grange are covered, as well as the 80’s disco dance songs Legs and Viva Las Vegas. There’s also a few great rock n roll and country songs! The band then does a third set of classic rock dance music for a total of 3 hours of awesome entertainment! NZ Top is not just a tribute band! They are also a party band which fits well into the Kiwi culture with its love for classic cars and hotrods. Ladies love to dance, men let loose playing air guitar - rekindling memories of their younger days ….or they just sit back, relax and enjoy the music. The sons in “Father & Sons”, The Pancho Brothers are Don, Josh, and Jake Pancho who as a trio is a distinctive Hard Rock outfit. Having toured for the last 20 years all over NZ, Australia, and South East Asia in some of the largest festivals with big names such as The Angels, Rose Tattoo, Jimmy Barnes, to our kiwi icons such as Shihad, Deja Voodoo, and I Am Giant. These boys are no children in the music industry and are genuine rock veterans. Sporting all the classic rock hits like of Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors and AC/DC all the way to the 90s grunge era of Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and of course Metallica, and even to the much harder Nu’ Metal era of the 2000s like Rage against the machine, Linkin Park, System of a Down. These boys certainly put on an impressive rock show like no other, with shredding guitar solos, thundering drum solos, and vocals to break glass windows. Without their Father to keep them tame on stage, The Pancho Brothers go all out, loud and proud.
